переоценка
 1. Повышение стоимости актива (как правило, в результате инфляции), рост рыночной стоимости или увеличение получаемого процента. Обычно растет стоимость земли и зданий; директора компании обязаны корректировать номинальную стоимость земли и зданий, а также других активов при составлении балансов, т.е. учитывать рост стоимости активов. См.: asset stripping (“освобождение от активов”).
2. Повышение стоимости одной валюты с плавающим курсом (floating exchange rate) относительно другой валюты. Сравни: depreciation (обесценивание); devaluation (девальвация).
